Who Should Attend?  

Dairy Farm Managers/ Assistant Managers,  Farm Administrators, Farm owners, Agri-services providers, Public, private and NGO sector personnel involved in livestock production and dairy development, extension agents, public and private trainers etc.  


To equip the participants with required skill-set to efficiently analyse and manage commercially driven dairy farms. The course aims to enhance participants’ practical knowledge and skills about dairy farm management with particular emphasis on farm analysis, breeding, health and feeding management.


Mr. Anne Terpstra is a Dutch dairy specialist and an international trainer with over 35 years experience in practical trainings on dairy farm management, both at PTC+ and abroad. He is an expert and certified trainer for general farm management with specialization in various aspects partcularly breeding, fertility, cow signals and applied dairy cow management.  










The training course will focus on multiple aspects of dairy farm management. Some of the major contents are as follows:

  • Becoming a dairy farmer/manager 
  • Efficient dairy farm management 
  • Cow signals - A practical tool for farm management 
  • Farm health management 
  • Judging dairy cows 
  • Herd conformation and analysis 
  • Interpretation of bull catalogues 
  • Preparing breeding plan 
  • Feeding practices
  • Raising dairy heifers 
  • Technical analysis of dairy farm 

Training Investment: PKR 65,000/-
This includes expat training fee, course material, training kit, course certificate (issued by PTC+ of Netherlands and SADI of Pakistan jointly), farm visit/excursions/practical training, working meals (lunch and 2 tea breaks daily) and group photo.
Note: Participants have to make their own boarding and lodging arrangements. SADI can facilitate in booking accommodation at its panel guest house(s) in Model Town Lahore depending upon availability.

  • 15% discount on early-bird registration before 30 October 2014 
  • 15% discount for group registration on 3 persons from one organization while 20% discount on 4 or more registrations from one organization 
  • 10% discount if the candidate has attended one of the "Introduction to Modern Dairy Farm Management" course at SADI in past
