PSDF under its scheme Skills for Market 2014-15, through DFID / UKAID funding, awarded a project to Solve Agri Pak for training of 740 rural women in District Gujranwala on ‘Home Based Livestock Farming’ which is a four months’ duration course. It included one month basic literacy (adult learning) and three months technical/vocational training on managing cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goat and domestic poultry at household level in profitable manner. The women were trained in three batches (of four months each). The training was conducted in the training Centre established at village level that provided training to that particular class for a continuous four months period. The project started in August 2014 ended in August 2015.
