Agha Khan Foundation through Agha Khan Rural Support Program awarded an assignment to Solve Agri Pak for carrying out feasibility studies for establishment of commercial dairy farms and dairy processing center with marketing plan in Skardu. The scope included detailed assessment of technical and financial viability of such project in Skardu, mainly in areas directly under Satpara Development Project (SDP) which is being executed by AKRSP with funding from USAID. It also included assessment of existing situation of livestock and dairy production, consumption and value chain, recommendations for improvement of the existing setups and technical and financial viability of commercial scale ventures
