USAID Agriculture Market Development project awarded contract to Solve Agri Pak for organizing 10 trainings (each for 2 days) across Punjab (Noorpur Thal/ Khushab, Faisalabad, Shiekhupura, Multan, Lodhran, Chishtian) and Sindh (Thatta, Umar Kot and Sanghar) at selected feedlot/backgrounding farms for the rural women of adjoining areas of each location who are involved in small scale livestock farming and particularly in handling & rearing of young calves. The scope of work for Solve Agri Pak included social mobilization in rural area in periphery of each selected location to enroll at least 30 women in each training event of 2 days, followed by organizing and delivering training on improved husbandry practices utilizing theoretical as well as practical sessions’ methodology. Under this initiative, Solve Agri Pak have trained over 400 rural women micro-entrepreneurs.
